A spinal disc (L5 disc) in my lower spine is deteriorating, so everything is super compressed. On top of that, I also have osteophytes, which means that the edges around the lower spinal bones are abnormally sharp. This equates to major nerve pinching, which cases a lot of pain and pain running up and down my legs.</p>
<p>The doctor suggested I do 3 things:<br />
1. Start swimming<br />
2. Sleep on a hard surface<br />
3. Stop lifting heavy weights</p>
